It’s craft time ... but now for adults

Atlantans are building communities — and some pretty cool projects to take home — at the growing number of crafting clubs around the city.
Before moving to Atlanta, Daisy Mijangos worked as a cake decorator and now uses those skills to make food-themed crafts. She and her husband, David Jimenez, offer workshops for adults to learn to make fake food crafts.

Atlanta arts groups are encouraging you not to be afraid of “chaotic crafting”

“It doesn’t matter if you’re making ‘good’ or ‘bad’ art, as long as you’re making.”

"I've been so excited to feature today's artist. I first came across her art back in 2019 when I-D did a feature on her work. Daisy is the owner of Pastry Plug Shop, which can best be described as as a food-themed variety art store."

Our hand sculpted fruits accessories, jewelry boxes, and sculptures were featured in Dekopon Magazine!
Both on the cover and in the magazine!

Why not have your cake and wear it too? Daisy Mijangos bakes real treats by trade, but also crafts fake treats to wear as jewelry and accessories. Her parfait earrings, which she models here, look good enough to eat.

Pastry Plug goes international with our first Chinese Feature.
